Mark has been a director at ClaxtonBird since its founding in 2016, playing a key role in its success and reputation. With over 20 years of experience in the estate agency industry, Mark is known for his exceptional local knowledge and professional, friendly approach. He began his career as a trainee and advanced to area manager at one of the UK’s largest estate agencies. His expertise in property valuation and sales allows him to offer clients expert advice in any market. Mark’s deep understanding of central and South-West Norwich helps him provide tailored guidance. Outside of work, Mark enjoys family time, travel, sports, and socialising with friends. His passion and dedication continue to drive ClaxtonBird’s success. 

Darren’s journey in Norfolk began in 1991 when he was stationed at RAF Coltishall. After leaving the Airforce in 1997, he settled in Norwich and quickly established himself in the property industry, joining a major corporate estate agent. Darren excelled in various roles, becoming Branch Manager and later Area Manager overseeing branches in south Norfolk and North Suffolk. With extensive experience in different market conditions, he understands the local property market and excels in meeting the needs of buyers and sellers. Darren co-founded ClaxtonBird Residential with Mark. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his partner, Julie, and staying active through sports. 

With over 20 years of experience in estate agency, Lisa is passionate about every aspect of the industry, from meeting new people to helping clients find their dream homes. Having worked for both corporate and independent agencies, she now thrives in independent agencies where the client-focused approach allows her to build strong relationships and provide a more tailored service. Outside of work, Lisa enjoys spending time with her partner, three children, and dog. They spend weekends walking on the beach, dining out, or cheering on her daughter at football matches. This sense of community drives Lisa to offer exceptional service. 

Sherry brings over 15 years of estate agency experience to ClaxtonBird, having previously worked for a respected local independent firm. Her extensive background allows her to offer clients a knowledgeable, personalised service. Sherry is passionate about matching clients with ideal properties, negotiating offers, and guiding sales through to completion. She thrives on helping people navigate the complexities of buying or selling a home. Outside of work, Sherry enjoys spending time with her family, including her two children. She values quality family time and enjoys outings, relaxing at home, and exploring new activities, balancing her career with a fulfilling family life. 

James has worked in estate agency for ten years, with a diverse background that influences his approach. Originally from North Norfolk, he studied photography in Kent and worked in editorial and advertising photography in London. His experience as a chef and restaurant manager sharpened his attention to detail. James started his estate agency career in Bushey, Hertfordshire, and later moved back to Norfolk, working for Jackson-Stops and Starkings & Watson before joining ClaxtonBird. He is NAEA qualified and has lived in Norwich for seven years. Outside of work, James enjoys food, film, theatre, sports, fitness, and travel, with a passion for cooking. 

Jess entered the property industry straight after Sixth Form, combining her love for people, property, and design. She began her career at a large corporate firm before joining ClaxtonBird in 2018 as an administrator. Jess quickly impressed with her enthusiasm and attention to detail, progressing into a negotiating role where she expertly guides clients through the buying and selling process. Passionate about design, she completed a Level 5 Diploma in Interior Decoration & Design. Jess balanced her career with a growing family, welcoming her daughter Georgie in 2023. Her positive attitude and dedication make her a valued team member at ClaxtonBird.

As a Mortgage and Protection Broker with over 20 years of experience in the Financial Services sector, Neil is the Principal of NBS Mortgage Solutions. He specialises in a wide range of mortgage products, including residential, buy-to-let, let-to-buy, and self-build mortgages, as well as secured loans, bridging finance, and commercial loans. In addition to mortgages, Neil provides expert advice and assistance in arranging various insurance products such as life insurance, critical illness cover, income protection, redundancy cover, accident/sickness insurance, and building/contents insurance.
Neil takes great pride in growing his business through referrals from satisfied clients, always striving to deliver a first-class, personalised service. His goal is to ensure that every client receives the best possible advice and solutions tailored to their individual needs.

Haakon Dewing has been an independent professional photographer since 2008, specialising in producing high-quality images for premium estate agents, architects, and property developers. With a deep passion for the built environment, Haakon takes great pride in capturing the essence of homes and spaces that people have worked hard to create. He has the privilege of meeting new clients and collaborating with them to showcase their properties in the best possible light. Whether photographing a sleek modern home or a historic building, Haakon is dedicated to highlighting the unique features that make each space special.
